Legendary, Despicable, and Dissolute
Life in Berlin in the 1920s was legendary, despicable, and dissolute – which can be seen in the series “Berlin Babylon”. Around 200 ballrooms lured dancing folks night after night to have fun; some hotels even had their own band. A remainder of that time is Ballhaus Berlin on Chausseestrasse, with table telephones.
The Berlin Roaring Twenties tour leads to historic places of this time. For example: A flat furnished in the style of the ’20s, a cinema, a liquor manufactory, an inn, which serves food from the 1920s in an authentic ambiance, a fashion store, a pub from 1923, or the house where Marlene Dietrich was born. The ’20s tour of Berlin is three hours. In the restaurant, there is dinner a la carte, and in the pub there is time for one drink.
What to Bring
- Food, drinks, entrance fees, and tickets for public transport are not included in the price. Please calculate to spend around 30 euro per person for all these costs.
- Because the locations are far away from each other, we use public transport.
- Even in bad weather the tours go ahead regardless of whether it is sunny or rainy.
