Learn all about the secrets of German cooking
In this Berlin food tour, we visit four restaurants representing different German regions. In every restaurant, there is a snack and a typical drink like German beer or German wine. Juice or mineral water is also available, if you do not drink alcohol.
All restaurants visited are small, sometimes family business and no chain restaurants. The tour lasts two to three hours, during which you learn all about German cuisine by a knowledgeable guide. Furthermore, you receive tips for good restaurants in town.
The amount of food equals a normal dinner. To end the food tour of Berlin, you receive a homemade German cake, for example Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, cheesecake, or fruit cake. Included is a vegan restaurant with modern, German plant-based cuisine.
- Food and drinks are not included in the price. Please calculate to spend around 35 euro per person for all food and drinks.
- Most part of the food tour will be done by walking. The distance between the restaurants usually is 5 to 10 minutes’ walking distance. If one restaurant is too far, we will use public transport. If you do not have a ticket for public transport, you can buy a single ticket which is around 3 euro. This is not included in the tour price.
- Even in bad weather the food tours go ahead, regardless of whether it is sunny or rainy.
